Reducer

Things I do to reduce my impact

- Refill my ink cartridges,
- print on both sides of paper, reuse for notes
- reuse glass jars,
- use cloth napkins instead of paper towels at the dinner table and cleaning. The only time I don't have a substitute is when I cook bacon and use it to dab off the grease. Ideas?
- donate egg cartons to the food bank,
- donate old clothes and stuff,
- buy thrift clothes and sometimes reconstruct them,
- get books and movies from the library instead of buying them,
- never buy bottled water, I have a Brita and travel mugs
- use cloth bags while shopping, but I take plastic shopping bags when I need more garbage bags. The garbage has to go in some type of bag - and those are free.

BirthdayWishes~

I love reading blogs, I love the accumulation of inspiration. Who cares if it's jumbled on the screen.

The blog is the new magazine, you're always able to find one you want to copy every idea from and know you can make it work, because these people think just as you do.
A couple of my favourites are:

Environmentally Concious:
http://noimpactman.typepad.com/blog/ Shows that it is possible to live with nothing and still have fun

Crafty:
www.notmartha.org tons of great links and slick projects

Frugal Living:

Gardening:

I found a couple books I wanted for my birthday and sure enough, they were posted on notmartha!
