I've had some time to get back into the blogs I used to read about environmental and frugal living. I've decided to start writing more about myself, seeing as how I already do a lot of these things. I want to learn more about making cleaning products, right now I mostly use vinegar and baking soda, but there are many more options.

Laundry Soap:
cups grated laundry soap or soap flakes (Lux)
2 cups borax
2 cups washing soda
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and store in a plastic container with a lid.
Use 2 tablespoons per wash.
Toothpaste:
4 teaspoons bicarb soda1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt8 drops peppermint essential oilGlycerineMix the above and add enough glycerine to make a paste. Store in a small jar and poke the toothbrush in when needed
